, Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., a Traditional Latin Mass for the Feast of St. Joseph, the Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, will be celebrated at OLV.

Our Lady of The Valley 12:30 P.M. High Mass                 Easthampton Ma 33 Adams st.
From email announcement for TLM in Easthampton at OLV

After Holy Mass, at approximately 7:00 p.m., we will offer a coronation of St. Joseph. In the universal Church, it is customary to crown images of Our Lady to honor her as the Queen of Heaven. It is also appropriate to complement this special devotion with a crowning of St. Joseph, as St. Joseph was from the line of David, himself being royal, as Our Lady, another descendant of King David, was.

We show honor to our spiritual father, St. Joseph, just as Our Lady and Our Lord did, in this crowning ritual; when we devote ourselves to St. Joseph, we can love Our Lord and Our Lady all the more. In enthroning St. Joseph in our hearts, we can enthrone Our Lord and Our Lady all the more deeply, as St. Joseph teaches us how to love them well. Attached is a condensed version of the ritual text for the coronation, which includes opening prayers, the crowning rite itself, and the Litany of St. Joseph. In saying the Litany of St. Joseph, honoring our spiritual father with so many special titles, we can crown him anew in our hearts each day.

Our act of consecration will follow the coronation of St. Joseph, at approximately 7:15 p.m., as we further solemnize the ritual by officially crowning St. Joseph in our hearts, offering ourselves to his service, so that we would ultimately serve God the Father as faithfully as he did, becoming closer to Our Lady and Our Lord, our means to union with the Eternal Father, in the process.

Traditional Latin Mass for 11th Sunday after Pentecost. Sunday August 4th

Mass
The earned and pious Abbot Rupert, writing on this Sunday's Mass previous to the change made in the order of the Gospel lessons, thus explains the Church's reason for selecting the following Introit: The publican in the Gospel accuses himself, saying " I am not worthy to lift up mine eyes to Heaven" St. Paul, in the Epistle, does in like manner, and says: " I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the Church of God." As  then, this humility, which is set before us that we may practice it, is the guardian of the union between the servants of God, because it keeps them from being puffed up one against another, it is most appropriate that we should first sing the Introit, which tells us that God maketh men, in His house abide together as though they were all but one soul.(Taken from The Liturgical year Volume 11 time after Pentecost book 2 pg.273)
Introit
God in his sanctuary: God, who maketh brethren abide together in the house: he will give might and strength to his people. Ps. Let God arise, and his enemies shall be dispersed; and let those that hate him flee before his face. Glory et. God.
